Who are you?
Hello, my name is Raul Portales. I'm a principal software engineer here at Workday. Come ask me any question about the People With Disability EBC or neurodiversity, or my own experience with my mental health.
Who are you and what is your background?
So my name is Raul Portales. I'm a software engineer here at Workday. I've been doing mobile for over 15 years, and I've been using computers since I was a little kid. I'm a member of the People With Disability EBC, and besides computers, in my free time, I like to go out running, play video games, which also involve computers, and I also make retro video games when I have some spare time and I also spend time with my daughters.
What is your role at Workday?
So at Workday on my day-to-day job, I am a principal software engineer on the mobile team. So I build the Android application and I have to work with my people here and all the people in other locations that we have is quite challenging because most of our teams are remote in the States. So yeah, that's what I do for a living. Write code for Android phones.
