Who are you?
Hello, my name's Graham Abell. Come ask me a question about my role at Workday, my thoughts on leadership and how I manage my mental health.
Who are you and what is your background?
I'm Graham Abell. I'm a vice president for engineering at Workday and I'm also the site lead for Workday in Ireland. I have married, I have two young kids, a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old, both at school now, and I like to cook sourdough in my spare time.
What is your role at Workday?
I am a vice President of engineering, so I'm leading a large global organisation dispersed around an off lumber sites. I'm also the site lead for running for the last about 18 months or so, and it's very different roles, stretching different muscles, including doing things like this, which are not necessarily my comfort zone, but kind of really important part of the job of advocating for and supporting the site's growth. And I've been really proud about, I was really proud about joining Workday and the impact it had on the community and being able to kind of continue that and help, I guess, accelerate in some ways has been great.
