Who are you and what do you do?
I'm Sophie Baker. I work here at Alpine in the HR team as a HR business partner with a focus on wellbeing.
Why F1, why Alpine?
To be honest, when I first came for the job, it was as an apprentice and I didn't know where the apprenticeship was for. It was only when I got the address that I knew it was F1 team. I was aware at the time it was Reno, I was aware that it was here because I grew up in the village down the road, but it was really exciting to come and realise where it was.
What is an EAP and how does it work?
An EAP is an employee assistance programme. It is a programme that's there 24/7 for you. It's an impartial service, so it's nothing to do with anyone at work. It's through a company called Health Assured. It's completely free to you to use. There's some links to log on and a phone number on the Health and Safety SharePoint page, and if you need help finding anything, then you can feel free to come and ask someone.
