Why do people need a filling?
People need fillings when they've got a cavity, which simply put, is basically a hole in your tooth which is caused by dental decay.
What would I go to see a dentist for?
Most people come to the dentist for a regular checkup and sometimes a clean, but occasionally you'll need to come for specific treatment. This could be fillings, extractions, root canals, treatment of gum disease, and replacing missing teeth. So that could be a denture or an implant.
Will my dentist judge me?
