Should I use a tampon?
It's entirely up to you. It's your personal choice. Some people like tampons, some people like to use a menstrual cup. Some people like to use period pants or a sanitary pad. Anything that makes your period a better experience for you, choose that.
I don't feel like going out, what can I do?
You don't have to go out when you've got your period. If you're feeling tired, a little bit, self-conscious, a little bit anxious, have a think about what commitments you've made. Is it possible for you to avoid them? Can you just stay at home and nurture yourself and look after yourself? You don't have to do anything that you don't want to do.
How long should a period last?
There's no set amount of time for how long a period should last. On average, it's between two and seven days.
